No, because other GW2 related price changes started earlier then the zkey change. I'm thinking that the potentially increased supply is balanced out by increased demand from people wanting to max out HoM.

Thats BS...It has nothing to do with a cusomized client.
Well...most of you guys post sth like "who cares,gw is dead lets wait for gw2!"...But:
If they cant fix this exploit in a 7 year old, well known game, how will they be able to fix it in Guild Wars 2?
If something like this exploit happens in Guild Wars 2 and it will take some months to fix it, the guld wars 2 market will crash as the Guild Wars 1 market did.

ANET should just put in a NPC that gives everyone anything they want and call it a day. They were heading down this road anyway with the massive drops over the anniversary.
This is not worth the time and money spent to combat it.

So what is the status of the market right now? I don't have a lot of money in this game and I was hoping to buy a bunch of alcohol next week.

Ah yes, because a team with 200+ people can't work faster than a team with about 2 people.....

That's partially right. The problem, you know, is that the number of " serious " PvP'ers left in the game is really small compared to the rest of players..
There are a few players in the game who achieved commander 8-11, and i can tell you that 95% of the community would call them red resigners..
The same applied for champion title. I recommand you to expose your champion title on a name, and to get an other name with the same rank... Half players will call you cap leecher or syncer..
The majority of players have their own opinions about how fair are some PvP titles, and most will say what they observed towards formats to anyone wearing a title..
Back on topic, i think not enough players in game do care or will even notice it so that they do anything... They did do something for bots because everyone was complaining everywhere( i remember 100 pages threads on this forum), but players could explicitely see them in game..
How can someone in game know that xx person is doing it ? They won't meet anyone while gaining their title. Besides, players not reading this thread probably won't notice anything( personnaly, that's the case for me ...)

Funnily enough you will still have to actually PAY to get the car fixed. ArenaNet is working for FREE on GW atm. So that really doesnt work out.

I did. And it is a FACT that the team working on GW atm is minimal, of course it will take time for them do fix things. And of course with 150+ more people it would most likely go faster.
So please explain to mean how I didn't think.

Well...from where do you have this information? If you think a little bit about it...Things like the complete support, balancing, WOC,etc cant be realised by 5-10 people. For sure they have still a lot of people working @GW1.
Btt: I found out that they actually have an outpost with a botter guild...

I suppose you missed the whole: "The live-team is switching over to work on GW2" deal about a month back. And even before that it was confirmed (I'll see if I find the quote) that they were only around 5-10 people working on GW currently.
And do you actually KNOW that is a botter guild, or are you just assuming?

Maybe this is why there's so much selling of ecto's going around and advertising in the districts?

Off course they do. The Live Team it's not the entirety of the people working on GW1, it's just the (small) core group of PR and game designers devoted to GW1 up to now.
Just to name a few, support isn't even handled by Arenanet (NCSoft handles it) and they surely have a dedicated squad of full time coders, network engineers and such.

Once GW2 is released, and any initial post launch issues of importance have been hammered out what do you think those 200 or so Anet employees will be doing?
Assuming Anet's approach to product development hasn't changed significantly then they have already started doing it, and will be allocating more of their resources to it after GW2's release... developing the next release.
Even with the cash shop Anet is dependent on shifting units (box sales/digital accounts), that is their primary source of cash, most if not all of their resources will be working on that, likely with a minimum of people being retained solely for bug squashing and fixing issues such as exploits/botting in the existent game.
History repeats itself. It is the nature of their revenue stream.

Funny enough that you dont understand what is the problem.
Problem is: this bug and all other fix is not fault by user, its fault from developers. If they have time for skill balance, numerous events, update like WoC etc, they must have time and resources for this.
btw if some manufacturer has serious issues, they will call you and fix THEIR problem for free! U never heard? - Mercedes has noticed a bug on a 10.000 vehicles and they calling all owners to contact the service.
Another one: Nokia has issues all times with their applications, and they constantly upgrading something...guess what, for free, because they care for customers even after ten years.
